Anyone else getting a little glitching with X1?

When I first installed on X1 on my old laptop - 2.3ghz duocore Win7 32, I got little glitching here and there on playback.  No drop outs, but stuttering every once and a while.  I chalked it up to my "below spec" machine.
 
I now have X1 64 installed on a new Win7 64bit 2.6 Quad i5.  The CPU meters barely rise at all.  This machine is very powerful compared to my old one.  Seems on the order of 4 or 5 times faster.  This thing has a turbo mode that allows it to run above 3gHz.  It is decked out with 8gb ram, 1gb high performance graphics, etc.  But I get the same amount of little glitching.  Never got it on my old machine running 8.5.3.
 
I'm thinking this is a problem with X1 - not my DAW.
 
Anyone else experiencing this?

    I got the same updated GForce 8600GT vedio card driver like support recomended but still gliching. Plugin play but now metter read out. Get @ me if here of a Fix please. Support didn't have the right answer.

    I have this exact problem. 8.5.3 runs great. X1 runs like crap at the same latencies.

    Which driver is that? I run an 8600GT with drivers installed by Win7, and it's all good.
     
    Windows update has pushed a couple updates to it in the last year. Currently showing:
     
    Display Drivers: nvd3dumx.dll,nvwgf2umx.dll,nvwgf2umx.dll,nvd3dum,nvwgf2um,nvwgf2um
    Driver Version: 8.17.12.5896
    Driver Date: 2010-07-09 00:00:00
    In terms of basic audio performance, X1 runs just like 8.5.3 in every way I've checked.
