Anyone else having trouble updating Forum Profile signature? (Resolved)
I cannot seem to get the forum software to update my profile's signature. I tried it in Chrome and in IE. After updating the text, I hit Save Profile, and it sort of blinks and displays again, but the update has not actually taken place. I also logged out and back in, and still no success. Cakewalk folks, is there some sort of trick to this that I am being oblivious to? It used to work. Bob Bone

Try.... Cut/paste sig into notepad, remove as many extra spaces as you can (esp from the last letter), edit, paste it back in. Cheers...

Alex - it was an excessive number of characters, but there was no indication of that. I rebuilt the signature a little at a time, successfully, until it quit saving, and then began trimming until I got it reworded and concise enough to fit within the limit. Stupid forum software to not have a simple character-counting edit in its profile edit page scripts. Bob Bone

I have found that the signature editing feature seems to work better in Firefox than in Google Chrome.

Updated mine a couple times in the last few days... the character limit I I've run up against many times and it is challenging not knowing how many u have left... make one b creative to say what ya want within an unknown character count! Chrome phone/Windows had always worked fine here

Alex, based on your avatar the correct response should be "have you turned your computer off and back on again?"

bitflipper Alex, based on your avatar the correct response should be "have you turned your computer off and back on again?"
Or maybe "Have you re-set AND re-scanned your VSTs?"
