Anyone else not hear back from Cakewalk before the Project 5 offer expired last Friday?

Just upgraded from Sonar 4 to Sonar 5 early last week, and then learned that Cakewalk had an offer in which S5 upgraders could also order Project 5 V2 for $149. Turns out it required you to order P5 at the same time as the S5 upgrade... so I sent an email to sales@cakewalk (after being on hold with their Sales phone line for a long time) asking about ordering P5 at the then-prevailing offer price, even though I'd already paid for the S5 upgrade a couple days earlier.

Never heard back... and Cakewalk sales tells that P5 will now cost $479. No good. Just curious if anyone else was unable to place an order (and is similarly unwilling to now) due to unresponsiveness.

    Oh no! Tell me it ain't so! I too just upgraded to Sonar 5 PE from Sonar 4 PE and started looking at using P5 alongside S5. Just yesterday it showed I would pay $149 for P5 as a registered S5 owner. I was also interested in Dimension Pro which looked like I'd then need to pay $100 as a P5 owner. But now I don't see that option (maybe because I'm on my work computer, no cookie?).

    If you are correct about the $479 for P5 then none of that is going to happen for me. Oh well...

    Can anyone confirm the price for P5 for registered S5 owners?

    WOW ... Harsh!

    I get regular emails about promos and I remember seeing the promo. I dont even have SONAR and I remember the announcement was sent out a few times to me at various times.

    most of us already own p5. i just looked and even though the price is $479 (new) and $79 (upgrade) there is an area to enter you serial number or promotion code have you tried that.

    I will try the serial number tonight but just yesterday it showed 3 price points, including one for Sonar 5 owners. So I am almost 100% sure the special is officially over.

    Seriously, I was looking at P5 as an addition to Sonar 5 because I wanted to get a little bit more into loop-based programming, so this is a bit of a bummer to have it pulled out of my hands just as I was about to purchase it. I really wasn't paying attention to the deadline because my interest in P5 only started a few days ago...

    I tried the Sonar 5 serial# and the price shown is still $429.

    No way I'm getting P5 now (or Dimension Pro). From $149 to $429. There doesn't even seem to be ANY discount for registered S5 users. Too bad...

    I guess instead of P5 my best course of action then is to upgrade from Kontakt 1.5 to Kontakt 2 for about $170. And spend some time learning how to use Sonar's own looping features.

    Oh well, P5, I never knew ye...

    I tried that and it still only shows P5 for $429 (or $79 for P5 v1 -> P5 v2 upgrade).

    that sucks Silk. maybe we'll catch you on the next promo, bud! What a shame! They should have some type of better buy for Sonarites that isn't time sensitive.

    Have a search round the internet, I managed to find P5 V1 on offer for £69 at Dawsonsonline and the upgrade price to V2 is only £50. Thats £119 as opposed to buying P5 V2 for £199.
