Anyone going to be in the DC area on June 16th? (All Seats now Gone..Sorry)
One of my shows is not sold out, so I have some empty seats to fill. I offer some free tickets - first come - first served. EDIT: Between this and other forums, all seats are gone.

My sister and brother-in-law live in the area. Can you put them on a list?

I won't be in the area, but I do need a couple of seats if there's some going for free...

Let me know when you decide to come to the "real" Washington area Katie Katie Katie! (lol @ Karyn! I can see why you'd need 'em. All the pictures of you have you either standing at concerts or laying on the ground.)
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

CraigB: "Let me know when you decide to come to the "real" Washington area Katie Katie Katie!" Karyn: " I won't be in the area, but I do need a couple of seats if there's some going for free..." Craig...you have a beautiful state. I was staying with friends in the Cascades and we slipped over to Mt. Spokane for 2 days of skiing and adult beverages. Nice folk, nice part of the country. Karyn...I will try to have my guys unbolt some nice ones from the floor and send them your way.

Darn. Only had my iPad with me last night and, as is well known, you can't post messages here with an iPad, only read them. I feel so muted...

You might have to sit in the control booth with some rowdy folk, but the booth is the best seat in the house. We also get some no shows, so it could all work out. PM me.

Very nice - and very nice website, too. I assume you're the "Geekette" noted among the producers? If you guys have a show in eastern ND, I'd love to come - the multimedia/multisensory aspect of your show intrigues me. Cheers, Russ

If you guys have a show in eastern ND, I'd love to come - the multimedia/multisensory aspect of your show intrigues me. Cheers, Russ Thanks Russ. My partners laid that Geekette handle on me when I finished my masters at MIT. I suppose it fits. I have perfect pitch and can play instruments, but my vocals are horrid....I mean horrid. So, I use the talents where I have strength - the technical side. Did I tell you I have a horrible singing voice? Anyway, I hire the singers, musicians, techs and roadies and manage the technical side. My other partners handle the PR, Madison Ave, Financials and licensing, other BS stuff I don't want to do and, of course, they perform. At curtain up I put on the headset and become the stage manager/director from hell. We have a good team. As to getting to North Dakota.... Not likely, but ya never know who is going to write the check. I did not expect to pack up and send show to Bermuda, but I did. For the right price, I will send the show to Nome Alaska.

Did I tell you I have a horrible singing voice? Yet, for only a $2,000 investment, heavy auto-tuning (to first put you off pitch, then more to put you back on) and a little internet YouTube magic, you too can become an overnight millionaire! Yeah... (Congrats on making it through MIT though! I wish I could have gone to a school like that, but being an only child and having a disabled father meant I had to go to colleges closer to home. *Sigh* )

A friend of mine (the one who plays guitar for Dennis DeYoung now) moved to California from Alaska. He got pulled over once and the officer thought his driver's license was a joke because it showed he was from North Pole, Alaska. LOL!

(Congrats on making it through MIT though! It was not until later in life that I did my post grad at MIT....on my own dime. And yes, it was hard (partied too much) . I was one of 8 kids (Catholic family), and father was a steelworker. No out of state schools for us. I did not qualify for any scholarship programs (partied too much). So, in-state tuition fees and a part time job got me through (with the help of some kegger parties). See a trend here? Work hard, party harder.

Well, good for you! I took my first four years of college in two ('cause I needed to find work) and ended up at a defense contractor before I could legally drink... I really missed out on a lot of partying that I seriously wanted to do (though I tried to make up for it later! ;-)

If I had all the bucks I spent on partying in my undergrad years... *sigh* Had some fun, learned some lessons. Glad I got it out of my system. Made up for it in grad school several times over...
