Anyone going to see Van Halen?

They just announced a show near me. In the mulling stage right now.

I am. The Uncasvile show in CT (the nearest location to my home) is right around my birthday and my wife has bought tickets for us.  While I'm not a rabid fan of Van Halen like I am with say Rush, I always wanted to see the lineup with DLR and unfortunately only saw them in the Hagar era live.  I have a ton of concerts coming up this spring and summer TSO on the Beetovan's Last Night tour, Joe Bonamassa (my wife's absolute favorite artist), Iron Maiden (my brother bought me these tickets for my birthday this year - I took him to Rush in 2010), and the Van Halen show.

If anybody wants to buy me tickets to a concert for my birthday I very rarely turn them down.

I really wanted to go see them when they come here to Vegas (5/27) as I've always been a big fan, but I'm relocating to FL. and will be gone before that. I saw them on the 1984 tour as well as the Fair Warning Tour and they were fantastic.
Now without Michael Anthony, the solid background vocals are really lacking IMO.....but then again it's mostly Eddie that I want to see/hear.

Well, looks like this is a bust.  They have cancelled (well postponed) all shows after the 26th of June.

From the Rolling Stone story on the news:

"A source with knowledge of the tour tells Rolling Stone that Van Halen's members "hate each other." Adds the source, "The band is arguing like mad. They are fighting."  Read more: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/van-halen-postpone-summer-tour-dates-20120517#ixzz1vG4sgpjg"
