Anyone have a copy of the Sonar 1.3.1 installation CD?

Hello.

I recently got a new computer and I cannot find my SONAR 1.3.1 installation CD. I contacted Cakewalk, and and they don't even have an ISO image file of the disk.

I only occasionally use the software, so I can't justify upgrading, but I would like to continue using the software that I already have.

If you happen to have a copy of that version and could send me an ISO image of the CD (or send me the CD itself), I would very much appreciate it.

I will let everyone know if I get one.

Thanks.

David

regardless if you can justify it or not.. that's a very old version ? dos or window 3.1  / 95?

it wouldn't work on a new pc , more than probable.

I have Sonar 2.2.  Would that help?  If so, how would we do that?

He would need to use the serial I presume he already has. That said he would need the original sonar 1 install disk. Then we would need to download and apply the patches to get the 1.3.1...If my memory serves that is.

not got a scooby (clue) , I've only been around since v7 and remember seeing a really old pc "cakewalk" when I was on ST and that was in the late 90's -96 or so.. when win 3.1 or 95 was the fashion.

but I remember seeing about backward compat.. that you'd just about get away with v5 or 6 on a newer pc.

Yeah, not sure it would work on new pc - getting the latest LE might be a better option.

Sonar 1 will run just fine on an XP machine, Win 7x32?
Most of my "legacy" software is running just fine under Win7x32 (NOT in XP emulation mode, or whatever they call it)
The one program that MUST run via "Win 7 XP emulation" is totally useless.

Why are we so interested in a 1 time poster that has not responded?

I'm always amazed when I see 23 views of "Rip DVD's for your iPhone" or whatever obvious spam pops up.

22 of them are people reporting it as spam   .. the covert spamming is annoying more
