Anyone have experience with these?

Seen online at prices ranging from the above (151 bucks!) to $450 at MF.   If these are that good, I'd love to have them at the low ebay price.

    Hey Dave, would recommend to check if you can test and then return them if needed.
    I have the AKG K712 but don't like them, never use them and will sell 'm shortly.
    They are brilliant for details, space, depth etc but they lack bass and have quite a midrange boost.
    AKGs seem to be famous for having a midrange boost, which imo doesn't help using them to mix.
    But for things like editing they seem very good, imo that is.
    Don't want to be negative about AKG, just trying to help.
