Anyone here rewire ableton into sonar ??

I have a question if you do .
 
It seems on a new project the rewire function works perfectly between SPLAT and Ableton latest versions i tried this as  troubleshooting for the problem below and it works perfectly without adding any other vsts ?
 
however i open a existing project with 100 tracks Inside SPLAT then rewire ableton and if i hit midi notes on spalt prv then ableton sound comes through but as soon as i hit play splat kills the audio from ableton but the midi is still triggering inside ableton ? i cant figure out why the audio is not coming through  .
 
So for me to get the audio back i have to have a second audio track imputing ableton stereo L/R and i have to change the output  to stereo bus 03/04 then back to Stereo bus L/R , then splat lets audio back through.
 
I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions i have tried alot in preferences regarding input echo and so fourth but maybee someone else has encountered this ??
