Anyone record with a Fender Fuze Floor? Can't get Sonar to recognize Fender ASIO.

I have a Fender Fuse Floor pedal (electric guitar) which allows audio output to a computer DAW via USB. Sonar X3 can see the Fender Asio driver, but I can't click the box to allow the Sonar to use it. In other words, it's in the Audio setup list of ASIO drivers. The other is ASIO4ALL, which works fine, but won't accept an X.

I think you'll find that you can only have one ASIO driver running at a time, try unchecking ASIO4ALL.

It may be that SONAR wants/requires exclusive access to the ASIO driver. To check your setup, right-click on the Speaker icon in the lower right corner of the Task Bar. Select "Playback devices". Right-click on your Fender device and select Properties. In the Advanced tab, at the bottom, make sure both boxes are checked in the Exclusive Mode section. [Win7]

Did you deselect both the ASIO4ALL input AND output in SONAR Preferences. ASIO only permits the host to use one I/O driver at a time.

Ahhh. Good to know. When I replaced my PreSonus AudioBox 44VSL with a Tascam US-16x08, I did a full uninstall of the 44VSL ASIO driver and then installed the Tascam ASIO driver. SONAR "forgot" the 44VSL i/o assignments and listed all of the Tascam input and output choices. I have never had two (or more) ASIO drivers installed at the same time, so never came across this, but it's good to know to deselect both inputs AND outputs.

    Thanks!

To add, asio4all is well known and documented to take over your ASIO drivers even if you have real ASIO drivers. It is  recomended to COMPLETLY un install asio4all in a system that has REAL ASIO drivers. Disabling it is not enough because it is known to be very invasive of your audio system.
