Anyone up for some acoustic guitar playing?

Hi all,

I'm working on a song with my daughter (14 yrs).
The song was a "techno" song, but after my comment that "all you need is a guitar and a nice pad to make a good song" she wanted the track to be "acoustic" and lofi.

One challenge... I'm not a guitar player :)

Anyone up for some acoustic guitar picking - something like in the track above?
She's going to sing it, not me :)

What is wrong with the acoustic track you have now? I think it sounds fine.

Hmmm.. I think the playing is kind of sloppy executed, or...not in sync (fingers not moving fast enough) and not happy with "the sound" of it.

I don't hear too much wrong with what you have there..a little stumble here and there, but nothing a couple of re-takes wouldn't sort out. Pop some sparkly reverb on it, and that would sound very nice.

yeah agreed... very nice.... just needs verb and EQ, and make it a bit longer.

I have to agree with the others, nothing wrong with what you're playing, a few retakes and comp the best parts together do some EQ and a bit of reverb and you'd have it.

I'd offer but I can't play finger pick style to save my life and honestly you don't really need someone to do it for you.

    The guitar playing/sound are fine!

    The song sounds nice, too.

Now, just get together with your daughter and finish it..
