I use both. I don't know all these important people at izotope but there is more of a drain on my system when I use ozone 5. When I use alloy 2 it is considerably less of a drain. At 100 dollars it was worth it. The presets on both are very good and I only need to tweak it here and the sometimes I don't and I really get a nice sound.

Well ACTUALLY, the only things in Ozone that cause a slightly higher processing demand than Alloy 2 is in the EQ module, but ONLY when it is switched to Digital-mode, and in the multiband compression module, but ONLY when switched to Hybrid or Digital crossover in the options, other than that in every other way they ARE IDENTICAL in their processing algorithms with the functions they both share, simple as that...gainsayers need not apply unless you've got nothing better to do.

And TJ says your full of it and also-you don't even own Sonar so why are you here? Just to create trouble. I have to assume you are a child. For real. So I will excuse your ridiculous banter and non factual content to that-a spoiled little brat.

I use both. I use Alloy2 quite a bit on channels. I use Ozone5 primarily as a mastering tool only after mixing down to two tracks.
