Anyone use the MC Control or Mix in conjuction with VS700?

Has anyone tried using the MC mix in conjunction with VS700C for extra faders?

Just picked up a MC Mix for a great price. I wouldn't pay for a brand new one though. Setup was pretty straightforward, just connected via Ethernet. Set it to run on Mackie mode and I was able to add 8 more faders next to my VS-700C now. Still need to test it out more though, the faders aren't as great as the one on the VS-700. I have a transport on the way so if I'm in Pro Tools 9 I can use those two for now until PT9 supports mackie (Unless it already does?? I couldn't find a way to use the VS-700 in PT9)..

I also ordered a MC Control to try out, v1 is pretty bad, viewing angle is horrible, unless you are directly over it you can't see much.. it was having issues as well and I'm returning it. The touchscreen feels more gimmicky to me and the mix is a better buy IMO. the MC Mix + transport IMO is better than the MC Control alone.
