Anyone using Waves GTR Solo on a Win 7 64 Bit System with Sonar X1?

Waves is selling GTR Solo for only $18 USD (and I take it that it doesn't require iLOK, which I don't have and would prefer to not buy).  Consequently, as I plan on installing this on a Win 7 64 Bit System with Sonar X1, I was wondering if anyone here has used this on a similar set up and what kind of experience you have had. Thanks in advance.

BTW, for anyone interested in this deal, here's the link: http://www.wavesgtr.com/html/product_gtr_solo.html
(Granted, Waves has a really poorly designed site. Trying to find product information and demos is difficult to near impossible. I ended up turning to Google to find a product manual, their customer support pages and various forums.)

I am interested in this too.  Also will it work with waveshell 7?  I have not updated my WUP and dont intend to.

I use the full blown GTR with Win7 and X1 64bit and haven't had any real trouble.  I think it still runs under waveshell 7.

It says what you need here along with the installer downloads.

GTR Solo has been tested and certified to work in conjunction with Waves V6, V7, and V8 plugins only.

    Authorization is with a serial.

I've got to admit though the site is frustrating, I mean would a non-waves user be able to run this and would they need a dongle to run whatever waveshell is required?

    I couldn't ascertain that much.
