Anyone watched any footage of the Dio hologram tour?
I can't believe his wife is doing this. I don't know if she's just trying to make more money off her late husband or what... I'm embarrassed for Ronnie. He must be rolling over in his grave.

On a related note . . . How do you stop Dio's kids from bouncing on the bed? Put Velcro on the ceiling.

This is why I want to train some young snotbag to take my place in the band(s) that matter(s). Until then, if I'm ever in a position to play live again, I'll just have my still living corpse wheeled out on stage and spazz out as much as is possible... just like always.

That's just plain weird. Here's another one of their songs:
Bands...take lot and loots of video footage. You will never be replaced.

Wow, that is pretty sad. A LONG way from seeing them live near their hayday.

I don't mind the hologram shows. It's sort of a separate circus. Harmless entertainment and maybe ineresting to tech-enthusiast.
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

I think ABBA is going to do something similar. From the video the band looks like they are going thru the motion. To them it's not the same.

In Japan kids come out in droves for avatars with vocaliod voices. Crazy I thought. Flesh and blood may be obsolete in music before you can say what happened?

I was sort of relieved to read that those aren't actually holograms. I was wondering how I had completely missed a sudden, rapid technical development.
