Anyone who has actually written a c-surf dll for the X series? please help.

I want to write a dll that accesses Sonar's C++ IDL from the windows speech recognizer...
I have limited  scripting experience with C++, vbscript, and Python.
I have done a lot of research, and am trying to avoid a pre-packaged solution...
most of those do more than I want, at the cost of speed.

I am truly willing to do the work but my major problem is OVERKILL.
I just want to write something clean and efficient, if that is possible, without a bunch of extra code I don't need...
any help would be appreciated...

If you want to use Windows text to speech then take that audio for processing in Sinar you can already do that with a program called VAS. Virtual Audio Stream takes the audio output via a program or windows sound and allows you to route it to another piece of software eg Sonar. It's only a nominal fee like $30 or so for a license.
There are 2 programs in particular: VAS and DDMF. They both have demos. Sorry I can't help on the programming side. Thought I'd mention these programs on the off chance this is your goal.
