Anything new in the bundled DimPro?

I upgraded to X2 (from 7PE) a few days ago, but I have not downloaded DimPro yet.  Do I need to?  If the only difference is the substitution of Flac files for WAV, then there is no real advantage.  Are there any new multisamples included?

By the way, my copy dates from 2007 and came on 2 disks.  I have added the 3 free expansion packs, along with a few additional purchased packs from the Cakewalk Store, plus a few multisamples that I have created myself.  Unless it is really necessary, I would prefer not to mess with my current sample content's folder structure.

The current version is 1.5. You can read about the patch here http://www.cakewalk.com/S...reader.aspx/2007013166 and patch your version if you have not already done so. That will get you the same version that is shipped with X1/X2. Aside from the change from wav to flac, DXi support was dropped and replaced with a 64bit VST version.

I am aware of v1.5 but I am sticking with v1.2 for now so that I can hang on to the DXi version.  Losing DXi versions of other softsynths has caused enough problems already.

I recall that some of the original bass samples were off-pitch and I have avoided using them.

There are some samples that'll crash Sonar.

Here's a thread about it and how to fix them.

Edit : This is not a new problem, so you may already be aware of it.

I'd heard about the problem, but I was under the impression that that it only applies to v1.5 and not to v1.2, so I didn't pay much attention.
