I will. Thank you, Craig. I think I found (well... referred to) a good doc and will ask her. It's only been two visits but she seems very cool but calculated and I get the vibe that she actually gives a crap about her patients. I have not had the greatest luck with medical folk in the past so new people prodding at me makes me nervous.

I know magnesium is important to take with calcium. While calcium plays a part in the contraction of muscles, magnesium plays a part in their relaxation. Too much calcium without enough magnesium to balance it out can cause problems including tension in the body. There's always freaking something isn't there? Luckily many calcium supplements come with Mg added.

Magnesium Taurate is good stuff. I'd suggest talking to your doc about it, but there's a lot of material available about the benefits of taking some magnesium on a daily basis.

I've got a magnesium complex I take to help with leg cramps.  Having played sports from when I was young until I was about 40, I'm very susceptible to them and they really SUCK!  So what Sharke said about them playing apart in relaxing the muscle makes sense to me.

Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

The good news is that magnesium also protects your hearing from noise damage.

I get REALLY bad cramps and spazms (usually in the middle of the night which is not a cool way to wake up). Even though they are localized they will completely wreck the rest of my body for days (used to be weeks).

Glad to know this may help with that crap. It is very unpleasant and due to the bad soundproofing I have to choke back the screams lest the neighbor (whom I can hear snoring) think I'm dying or having a meltdown and call an ambulance or the cops.

Anyway... I just finished compling the timesheet/descriptions of those old X1 Advanced vids Craig did. It was a LOT of work but there is a LOT of cool stuff in those that are going to help me with some things I've got planned. Now I can quickly jump to specific sections whereas before it was just one big blurr in my memory of things that COULD be done but I had no specific idea how. Lots of very detailed instructions so not being able to just skip to important stuff made the vids kind of useless in any practical way. I've had them since I bought X1 Pro Suite (they were some kind of free bonus at the end of the release cycle) and have watched them a few times but only now do I really understand what the heck he's talking about in most of it.

Point is, smashing my brain with all that seems to have helped distract me just enough to stop freaking out and I've accomplished something useful. Now I should probably eat something which should knock out the rest of the sh*ttiness. Hopefully the wackaloons in this building don't start going all smashy/yelly/crazy again tonight like they have been all week. Jag offs.

Hey look on the bright side. My back once went out so badly that I immediately got into bed and found that even the slightest move would cause excruciating, blinding pain. I lay there for about six hours screaming my head off every time I tried to get up. I bet you could hear me two floors down. And did any of my neighbors help? HA!
