Apply ProChannel processing to audio clips

Here's one that's got me stumped... how does one apply Prochannel processing destructively to audio? I don't mean bouncing to tracks or exporting, just a command like "apply audio effects". Apply Audio Effects doesn't seem to do that, and that's a problem, because if you have your PC processing PRE FX bin, then after applying audio effects your PC processing is now technically POST. Right? Am I wrong?

Exporting and bouncing are not real solutions, as I generally want to keep my bussing, routing, automation, and FX chains intact and untouched on their original tracks. Plus it's a pain. I just want to apply the PC processing so I can make a bundle that will open and sound correct in 8.5.3 or X1-unexpanded (I have expanded with softube and the pc4k, trying to give a project to someone with 8.5.3)

Thanks!

If you execute a "Process | Apply Effect | Audio effects" command on an audio selection and check the box to "delete effects from track effects bin" the prochannel will be applied and automatically bypassed after the operation so as not to be applied twice. The checkbox applies to both normal track effects as well as prochannel modules except it doesn't really delete the prochannel effects just bypasses them.

If you don't want the fx in your bin deleted then simply manually bypass the bin and the prochannel when you are finished.

Destructive audio processing is the old way of applying fx. A better way to do this is to freeze the track and send them the project.
