Are Reason synths allowed as plug-ins?

Calling those in the know, does Reason allow its on-board synths etc to be accessed/used as plug-ins in Project 5?

I have a friend who has Reason, i have almost convinced him that Project 5 is the audio-recording software he needs, but would he be able to access his Reason synths if Project 5 was the host?

Or have i just answered my question?! Would the best way to do it be to 'rewire' reason as the client software?

Many thanks, Brian

Yeah that (rewire) is the only way you can access reason synths in P5. You could, I suppose, bounce the synth down (record a line in reason and export as wav etc) then import the audio into p5. Whatever method floats your boat I guess.

The answer to Project5 hosting any of Reasons synths, is a flat no, or in fact any programs accessing Reasons synths.

    Rewire is the only option.
