Are You Happy?
Here's a new original by my friend, Brian K. This is one of the songs going on his new CD. Brian is also the vocalist and strums a guitar in here. I added the rest. Comments and suggestions welcome! (Rough mix) https://soundcloud.com/stringjammer-1/are-you-happy

Thanks bapu! Drums will come in further down the production line. Still deciding on whether to use a kit or hand percussion on these.

Love it SJ. I think your arrangement really makes this simple tune. On my monitors the lowest bass notes 'boom' a bit compared to the rest of the track. You might consider trimming a bit of the very low end off the bass track. Great job, Peace, Ian

Well, I thought the left guitar was a bit too loud compared to the right guitar. Otherwise, on the bass end, with some other songs I heard today from other people it seemed soft. Now I wondering if their bass was a bit loud. Well, it's your song so the mix will be I suppose what you want in the end. Not really wrong though. Sounded okay.

Though not my stlye of music, I was really impressed with the production, top quality mix and performance. Virtues I'm far from, but get my inspiration to keep plugging away from musicians like you. I did find my style at SoundCloud with "Instrumental C", I loved the guitar work and backing music was spot on. What is neat about this forum and those who use Sonar, your'e now not only the muscian, but the recording studio mixing master also (or whatever those folks are called) which is what brings all the right sounds together at the right time, at the right level for a great recording. Don't quite know what I'm trying to say but the music I hear all over this site is awesume, inspiring, so hats off to you Scotty and everyone else.
