Are there wrappers from VST midi -> midi fx plugins?

#1. Since there are wrappers for the audio plugins VST->DX, why not just midi stuff?

Isn't midi fx basically DX plugins with only midi in and midi out?

Would really be neat if there were such a wrapper.

#2. I have VST midi fx that identify itself as synth?
But it fails to load with an error in X3 - possibly since it does not have audio ins/outs is my guess.

Is there a way to trick X3 into loading these somehow?

It works this way in Studio One, that I can load VST midi plugin on one track, take output from that to next synths input.

Thanks.

I got the Insert Piz Here stuff that is free and available on KVR(on his own forum).

    At the top here:

Also some of Jeff's, he that wrote jBridge if I remember correctly.
    There are plenty out there.

None of these load in X3.

How neat wouldn't it be if having a scripting language like JS plugins in Reaper?
Then you can make your own midi plugins real easy - well with some knowledge if programming.

I guess CAL is not built for that purpose.

Thought about that a scripting language, built into a plugin that identify itself as midi fx
    - ha, that would be huge usability.

It would be nice to be able to load Reaktor as a MIDI VST.
