Are updates installed automatically?
Sorry if dumb question, but reading other threads, I couldn't tell for sure. Under Sonar Platinum it has the Allston Update 1 (21.0.1.254) and under connected products, SONAR Platinum is "green". I'm assuming all updates install automatically??
btw...I could see by right clicking on SONAR Platinum, I could "roll back" to 21.0.0.252...which leads me to believe that was the first version.
You gotta remember, I'm a 61 yr old musician! ;-D ...and a loud gtr player at that!

No. Look in the Cakewalk command center for updates. They should be yellow.

I see nothing yellow or anywhere to upload...even my account page shows all current

I think when we got Sonar the update had already happened. I did have a update for the FX chains today.

btw...I finally got around to instally Craig's FX stuff... and I didn't have an update. Guessing I installed the latest as well??
But my question kinda is... in the picture above... under "SONAR Platinum"... is that the version, or THAT update is available? If it's the version, I updated automatically somehow, as I installed Sonar Platinum last night.

Ok...I just installed FX chains just now, as I ran out of time last night. I ONLY installed stuff that was new from X3e. That would explain no FX chains update.... and I guess I d/l the latest version, AFTER the Allston update.

hey mixmkr - 21.0.1.254 is the latest version. When another update comes out - your SONAR Platinum ball will turn yellow, and you'll have to do a couple of clicks to update. Everything will download and install for you - when you do it through the Command Center. I'm a young whippersnapper who just turned 60 last summer. I know these things
