Are you a man or a...

I need some help with my mouse.  It's a logitech wireless.  got this little tiny USB R/T.  Anyways, my mouse isn't really the issue.  The issue is that I know this mouse isn't working very well with the new X2A deal.  I upgraded to Windows 8 today to see if it would help and it didn't.  Well, it did kinda cause now, I have more data.

When I click on a parameter on Sonar that is typically click and drag, my mouse engages the scroll/wheel function.  So while I can't click and drag the parameter, I can scroll the data, click again to select the scroll value and be on my way.  Only problem this, I don't like it to work like this and some of the parameters in Pro Channel that don't activate the scroll/wheel and the click and drag doesn't work either.

What I want to know is the make and model and any particulars of the mouse that the successful users of Windows 8 and Sonar X2A?  I need to eliminate this as the potential issue and I'm really hoping it is cause the cakewalk folks aren't gonna patch it.

So...is that a mouse in your pocket?  wired? wireless? track ball?  What are ya using that works as advertised?

Thanks in advance

Could it be a driver issue? Are you using any drivers unique to that mouse or are you just using the generic mouse driver? It could also be a wireless issue; there might be some interference that's fouling up your connection.
