Are you a student??? I wish I was. SoundToys Native Discount!!!

SoundToys...makers of the greatest effector plugs on planet earth...have just announced a student discount program which will get you all their native plugs plus Devil Loc Deluxe for $250 semolians.  This is an incredible deal.  Two things to keep in mind tho.
 
1]  They are still 32 bit and are a bit sketchy in Sonar 64bit.  Dern it.
and
2]  I alredy have them all.  Dern it.

    Truth be told...there's a crapload I don't.  Quite a bit, most in fact, of the WAVES stuff.  Some of the newer UAD.  I've really slowed down to a crawl in the plugin department.  As I should fer gawd's sake:-)

    The trick for me seems to be to only shop for stuff that's way too expensive to justify at the moment. I'm stuck considering SSL Duende for a while now and it's prevented me from buying anything in over a week. :p

    EDIT - Ok, must be honest - also had my eyes on that new DNR channel strip http://www.teamdnr.net/mixcontrol/

    Inexpensive and in terms of layout/GUI, it's definitely a winner in my book. I think one of the guys behind this one works/worked for Sonic Timeworks - if that's a reference to the quality of the processor, this thing should be pretty good.

    I wish there was a workable way to just give away older versions of stuff that's still quite viable that one no longer uses or have way newer updates to.  So much very good software is just wasted due to the inability to relicense it.

    Yeah, I saw that discounted and almost slapped myself.  I just bought it at full price a couple of months ago, and then just started my MBA.  I think that makes me a student, lol.

    Oh well.   The decapitator in particular has really added some sparkle into a couple of my tracks.
