Aria Player - stop resetting volume on stop

It's been a while since using MIDI but I remember this happening on several vst plugins.
What's the midi trick to stop Aria Player from resetting volume (the mod wheel controls volume) when playback stops?
No control data is recorded.

if it is checked  un-check it..

I just place a Controller 1 node at the beginning of the project to create a default volume setting.

Zarg, there are two ways you can do this.  One is at the start of your song write in a CC1 127, or any other number for for your volume.  127 is the loudest but you could put 100, 91, 55 etc.  Just set the volume to what you want.  You can do this in the PRV by clicking on the little + sign on the velocity track.  It will ask you for a CC number and put in 1 then draw in your volume.  Do this before any notes.  It the notes start on measure on beat one then add blank a measure before your song.  It is a good idea to do this to any song, add a blank measure that is.

The second way would be at the start of your song before and notes record your mod wheel, the mod wheel is CC1.  Again move it to the volume you want.  If you over or under shoot your volume aim then just edit it in the PRV.

    I hope this helps.

What's the disadvantage of not zeroing out the controllers in Options?

When you have zero out the controllers Sonar will rest the controllers to their last setting prior to starting.  So if you have a pitch bend set to zero prior to when you are going to start your playback then pitch bend will be zero, regardless of what it was when you stopped the song.

If you disable zeroing out the controllers and you stop a song with the pitch bend at +6 the restart will be starting at +6 even though a beat before the restart was a pitch bend set to zero. In other words the restart will have controllers set at the same setting as when you stopped.  Pitch bend was just an example as all of the controllers will work the same.

I hope this isn't confusing to you.
