Arrange a Song and Mousewheel changing

Hi
I have made my first Song in Cakewalk. Sounds good, but i think it is to short. Now i have some tracks and some Patterns or Clips.

The first try was an desaster :D

The second try looks better. But I have just some questions about a better workflow:

1. I have choose some Clips. They beeing the End of my song and i would move them to the right, add some clips in the middle and move the end back to the end of the Middlepart. Can i Group some choosen Clips, so that i choose all of the clips (several tracks!) with only one click? And maybe that the dont get more Midi-Events, if i accidentally move an clip over another in that group

2. Can i Change the Mousewheel direction in the Trackwindow (maybe the Midi-Event Window too), so that the mousewheel dont move the Trackwindow "up and down", but left and right.. So navigation would be easierly (I just seen, i can hold down the STRG Key, but is there a chance to change this? Maybe go up and down by pressing CTRL)?

3. Is there a chance to make "helplines", so i know where my parts begin and end?

4. Is there a chance to place the "Line" (coursor) in a part of the Song and add some Empty room and all follow clips will move to in the right order in the same way. So that i can maybe add some tracks without select and moving the following.

Thank you for answering!

Hi, I hope these are the answers:

    1. Right-click and drag across the clips to select them, then right-click and select "Create selection group from selected clips."

    2. Click the Track view's Options menu and select "Mouse Wheel Zoom Options," then untick the "Simultaneous Horizontal and Vertical Zoom" box. Go back to the Track view and hold Ctrl+Alt and scroll the mouse wheel. This zooms the view only horizontally.

    3. If you don't see the "helpline" when you move the mouse, press the X key on your keyboard once, then move the mouse. Can you see the dotted line (it's called Aim Assist) now?

    4. I don't thinks so. But selecting and moving clips is quite easy. Right-click and drag across the clips to select them, then hit Num3 or Num6 or Num9 (it's called Nudge).
