Arrrrggggggghhhhhhh! Dim Pro won't authorize on my new machine.
Yes I have the Serial Number & Reg Code directly from the cakewalk store. The serial number seemed to take during the installation. It's the reg code that does not work.
I have verified that on my XP machine the reg code is correct (you can see it in the Registry).
I have both cut-n-pasted and hand typed the Reg code into the DimPro dialog box requesting it. No go after at least 5 times of doing it each way.
The same failure occurs in the 64bit and 32bit installs.
Guess I'll be on the phone with Cakewalk tech support early tomorrow morning....

I seem to recall a lot of people upstairs had DimPro problems when X1 first came out.

Did you try it with your disks from 8.5 or X1? Not sure but I think it's the same build as the Dim pro in X1 so if you have your 8.5 disks you might want to try to install it from that. For some reason I'm thinking the 8.5 is the version that your reg code is for. Just a hunch...
