Arthritis is wonderful isnt it?

After finally getting a break and a chance at sitting down with the Strat and Sonar, my body has other ideas and refuse to let me enjoy my piece and quiet for the night. Its just wonderful.    Maybe its just not in the cards for me and I was just meant to help others with laying down their music-which I am happy to do.  Its a terrible thing when you love music so much and are limited most of the time.

Thanks,  Just had to get that off my chest

You have my empathy, Mike.  My personal demon is tremor.  Turns clip editing into a real adventure   to say nothing of how it has impacted my guitar and keyboard playing.

Sorry to hear about everyone's health problems.  I have some of my own--including a bit of arthritis in my left hip.  It's still in the early stages, so it hasn't been a big problem--yet.

Best wishes on all of your health concerns.

Mike, Phil, Old and all the other sufferers my sincerest sympathies.

Personally it is the carpal tunnel, the arthritis, hands that go completely numb and a list that goes on.

I know I can have an opp for the wrists but the surgeon advised against when he learnt I played Guitar and Keys.

    mmmmmm....welcome to cakewalk's hospital ward....

my list of ailments include things like diabetes, heart issues, arthur-itis in my back and knees and a lipoma that was recently taken out of my back...

then, of course, there are the self inflicted things like the nail through the foot trick brought on by accidently nailing myself to the floor with a nailgun.

No arthritis yet, but I can't play the piano more than 20-30 minutes at a time without my arms hurting quite a bit.  I picked up the guitar again a few weeks ago too and my wrist hurts if I play it too long.  No wonder it takes me so long to learn a piano solo.

But really sorry to hear that Mike.  Here we have time (well, some anyway), ability and technology and our bodies are saying 'I don't think so, buddy!'  :(  I hope you can find a way to get your arthritis under control.

When I get up and groan, my wife asks me, "What's that for?".  Most of the time, I don't even know.  Take your pick.  Back, bad knee, dinosaur bite...  It could be any of those.

No.  I don't think it's due to the sheer effort required to move this much mass.  Are you going to finish that becan?

WD-40 I've heard was invented as an arthritis treatment. Gov wouldn't
    approve it.

I think Karyn also wins because the viability of her Rush tickets has been called into question.  I think she relax on this point.  Rush has already released a documentary album about the year 2112, so I think the destruction we're expecting is not on May 21, but during 2112.

Unless, of course, I was right about the future being destroyed by the present.  In that case, you're on your own.  Hope that helps.

I tried the capzasin.  It didn't help the pain, but the burning sensation sure did distract me from the original pain.

While installing some OSB a week back, I removed my gloves, touched a piece and  I got several splinters..... they were uncomfortable to say the least.... used my pocket knife to dig them out.... and put my gloves back on....

I've taken glucosamine and chondroitin for several years because of tendontitis and some early arthritis.  It takes about six months of regular dosing before it kicks in, but well worth it.
