Am I the only one who falls asleep watching Kontakt how-to videos?

Seriously, I've made multiple stabs at becoming proficient with Kontakt, but ultimately decide to watch some paint dry instead.

I have managed to make some instruments of my own, that I actually use on a regular basis. I've also tweaked commercial libraries, such as combining three percussion libraries into one, adding an extra octave to the top of a guitar library, building stripped-down versions of libraries that were too memory-intensive, and making libraries out of some of my favorite hardware synth patches.

But as soon as you start talking about zones, I zone out. And scripting, ugh. Mind you, I'm a programmer by trade and have developed a high tolerance for technical minutia and obscure gotchas. But anything beyond coding a reverb knob and I start wondering if there isn't something good on TV.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

There are many videos I find that way Bit...

Most of the Groove 3 videos put me to sleep.  They are usually redundant,
remedial information...and that bores the crap out of me...I have to watch them
    in "small doses"...

The AskVideo 99 Cent deal was money well spent.  I finished over 300 videos and 20 courses
in that month, and for me....that's amazing...it really has to hold my attention to last that long.
Some of them were boring...but I had committed to finishing everything I started...so did.

But, usually, if the instructor does "reach out and grab me" ...I"m gone real quick...
