Ah. Another controversial figure (brace yourself in case you didn't know).
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I've been told I have a controversial figure. (This started a few months after my six-pack abs turned into a pony-keg gut...)
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Controversial??? I was introduced to Aspen when he released his Space Station V3 amp. I was one of the first purchasers of his product and corresponded and spoke to him several times, plus he is a frequent poster in Keyboard Central in the thread about his product He took care of an issue with the amp personally and id committed to his customers satisfaction He has had many setbacks in his life with his relationship with Fender and what they did to him, even with his latest baby he had curves . He is a spiritual religious dude and although he wont proselytize, he will discuss his convictions and tribulations if you broach the subject.

Let's just say that I'm aware of the fact that there are others out there who have a rather different opinion of him. That would be definition of "controversial".

Back in the 90's I was trying to restore an original Les Paul amp from 1952. It (the pieces) was is a box after being thrown down the stairs and destroyed. I managed to restore the amp over the course of a couple months, but it never would have happened with Aspen. He was the only guy on the planet that had a circuit diagram and he faxed it to me as a favour. That amp is still in use today. Whatever else he was/is, he was real helpful to me.
Regards, John I want to make it clear that I am an Eedjit. I have no direct, or indirect, knowledge of business, the music industry, forum threads or the meaning of life. I know about amps.
