Assigning Midi Event Filter To Key Binding

I dont see this as an option. I know there has to be a way to do it.

I have a ztar that has a tendency to spit out a few double triggers (probably my setup or playing style). I would like to be able to hit one key and have the filter come up. What do I need to do?

Thanks

If you mean Edit/Select/By Filter, it's already bound to Alt-F, but you could change that to a single-key binding. Just go to Options/Key Bindings, and look for commands starting with Edit in the Global Bindings list.

Actually Brundle I was hoping to bring the MIDI EVent Filter up or even better, apply a particular filter (removing notes under 25 duration) by a single key stroke.

THis is the MIDI event filter under MIDI Effects on the Process screen.

    Thanks though.

You could use a track template for your midi guitar with the effect preassigned.

Though i agree the keybinding options could be refined, i feel that bindings for specific plugins best with your favorite settings is a bit high hope.
