Assigning controls

How do I assign the faders/knobs/wheel of my Masterkey  49 to SonarX2 Studio?
Are there ways I can save the preset so when Im in one screen it does on thing, then when Im in another screen it does another?

I have 4 knobs, 1 fader, 1 pitch bend and 1 mod
If it matters, for now I'd like to have the fader as the Track Volume, Knob1 as Pan, Knob2 as Gain in the Main screen (where you can see everything-the browser, the console, etc. I don't know what Knobs 3/4 should be yet. SUggestions welcome.

Either a) Remote Control feature or b) ACT (both are explained in Sonar's reference guide). Remote Control assignments cannot be saved as a preset in Sonar, but if your MIDI keyboard has an editor that allows you to assign different MIDI messages to different maps and save them as presets in the editor, you might be able to do what you want to do (by switching the maps right after you change screensets in Sonar). As for ACT, I don't know which control surface plugin you are supposed to use with Masterkey 49. I use Roland A-800Pro, so I use A-Pro Controller Surface Plugin, but it can only control contiguous tracks or buses when the focus is on the console (meaning knob 1 controls the pan of the first track and knob 2 controls that of the second track, therefore cannot assign knob 1 to pan and knob 2 to gain).

    Tak T.
