At last acknowledgement by Cakewalk that I'm not going mad

After struggling for months with V-Vocal in my W7x64 X1x64 setup and filing a few problem reports, Cakewalk have finally been able to recreate conditions that replicate my crashes!

I have been having problems with V-Vocal crashing X1 when RAM use exceeds circa 3.5GB despite having 8GB in my machine......

I have found ways round this in the past by freezing VSTis, presumably reducing in use RAM to level where V-Vocal can operate.
Previously CW has insinuated that perhaps the 3rd party VSTis might be the problem but last night, at long last, I got an acknowledgemt that they had managed to replicate my crash with projects >3.5GB.

Hurrah!

Now I wonder how long it might take to fix it?

X1D is due when?

    Big news there.

    I'm expecting that will get fixed...in X2....

    Damn!

I was betting it was Twig becoming slightly unhinged.

Only joking Twig - glad it's reproducible & therefore fixable.
