Attaching and showing image file

I've used Cakewalk/Sonar since 1997 and so I am an happy old user of the software.
 
One thing that I would like to have in Sonar is the possibility to attach and show an image file in a Sonar project. Me and my friend usually have some chord progress and song structure notes on paper that we use when we are recording. It would be supercool to have the possibility to attach that paper after scanning/photoing with the Sonar project-file, so they would "stay together" easily. And it would be cool if there wound be some kind of window for that image as well, so we could see it on screen when we record. I don't know if there is some vst plugin already for this (I've been looking for...).
 
What you think about this? Is there already some way?
