Au Courant?

I wrote this song *hide the innocent* for SATB choir.  It was meant as a holocaust remembrance; how the good citizens have to hide any innocents to keep them out of the fire.  Here are the lyrics for the first stanza:
 
The second day the earth was made
turned sky and sea into a world
soon evil breathed its stealy soul
 
was the day god hid the innocent

it's man's time to do his best
so god can finally take his rest!
Hide those peaceful honestly,
And teach affirmation.
