Audiffex pedal bundle

Not on sale, but I found the price to be great as it is.  I've discovered Audiffex to be one of the third party developers behind some of the powercore plugs I love so well. I picked up their pedal bundle for $49 and am very impressed with the sound and selection for both bass and guitar. Also impressed with the fact there was no online auth BS, just here's your serial# and you’re mixing.  There's a demo available, 64 bit is supported.

I have the guitar amp bundle and the Gallien Kruger Bass bundle - the Bass is excellent and I use that a lot. The Guitar Amps are pretty good and I use them on occasions as well.

I have the bundle...the latest version...but it will not work on my system. It used to in 32bit but the new 64bit won't show up or load. I'm hoping the next update of either audiffex or sonar will fix the problem.

That little composite image of pedals they have on the site is gratuitous pedal porn.

I have the bass vst (GK) and love it.  Have not tried the pedals.  Perhaps I will demo them one day.

Yea, I had to get off that site when I spotted the GK bass amp. Thery're giving me GAS. My favorite amp I ever owned was a small GK guitar amp. The only reason I had to get rid of it was because the input jack was made of plastic, soldered into the main board and in a bad location. I replaced it 4 times; the part became unavailable so I traded it in on my Millennium.

I have all the virtual guitar amps I need, but I'm going for that GK bass amp for sure.

$39/ $79 is that just mono stereo versions? Why would I want a stereo bass amp if one of my final stages of finalizing is going to be bringing the bass back to the centre. Am I missing something?

Sorry to hear there are issues with their 64 bit in Sonar Ole pal, hope they get that worked out.

I also had a problem using x64,  don't remember exactly what it was now.
I emailed & he was waiting on Cakewalk to provide him with a copy of X1 or X2 to test.

That was about 9 months ago, never heard back.
I'm currently using them in another daw & all work fine.

I bought this as well to use with NON GUITAR instruments (VSTi) triggered by MIDI.... I am using x64 SONAR and noticed that the plugs can be inserted but the wrong plug in title shows up.  For example, I inserted the PHASER and the plugin name in the FX box say TREMOLATOR... but when editing the effect, the phaser does show up.

It seemed a shame to load in a complete AMP SIM VST just to use the PHASER that exists in the AMP SIM tool set... very BLOATED, memory hogs for just one plugin?  So, this fits the bill with the minor issue I am having.

However, copying the plugin from one track to another (I like phase shifters), the TREMOLATOR plugin does insert and not the phaser?  Quite odd, I put in a support ticket a few days ago and have NOT heard back from them yet.

But, for $50, you get a lot of plugins.

What I really CRAVE is for UAD to model VINTAGE guitar pedals as ONE UPs, like this (or a bundled price for many) and model the old standards very well (MXR Phase 90 and 100, UNIVIBE, DUO FUZZ, etc.) to go along with the ECHO PLEX and SPACE ECHO... that would truly be awesome.

The apparent good news for me is that after updating to X3c my audiffex pedals are working again...although the right pedal's GUI shows up in the main screen...a different one shows up in the track inspector fx bin. Go figure.

I'm getting the same thing with the 64 bit plugs from the pedal bundle since I upgraded to win 7. Any plug I use works 100% but is labeled Tremolator, I better write them too . Not a showstopper but gets confusing.

I got mine the other day and only had a few minutes to play with it.
My first impressions (as a rock guitarist) was that it had a variety of nice tones but at least compared to Pod Farm was a bit heavy in resource usage.
