Audio Export not available?

The File -> Export -> Audio and File -> Export -> Midi Groove Clip are both disabled. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on exporting audio?

    Rob,
You can't export MIDI as audio. You must have some audio in the project to export as audio.
Tell us about your system, OS, soundcard, etc.
I'm guessing you are playing the MIDI clips through the MS Wavetable Synth?
This is not the easiest to work with, but it's doable.
We need to know what you are working with, though, before we can give you any real answers.

Yes you must have audio in the project...

Bounce to track ( convert to audio) at least one of the midi clips. Then mute the midi source track and highlight the audio track... File>export audio> should now work... in the export audio window, select your destination and use the preset: "What you hear" and click OK.... job is done... just remember the destination of the finished wave.
