Audio Import Problem with 4.0.3

When I import an audio file, whether it is an mp3 or wav file, i get a view of the audio file with a flat line. On one track, I see the audio file, but it is only the last 30 seconds of it. The track plays fine, but the view is messed up. Any ideas?

Here is a link of what it looks like:

Thanks.

As long as the track plays OK, I'd say that your Picture Cache may be full. Delete all the .WOV files from your picture cache folder (after closing Sonar). This folder by default will be somewhere like C:\Cakewalk Projects\Picture Cache - You can check by doing Options, Global, Audio Data

Do not delete the folder itself.

Restart Sonar, all should be well. You can also increase the size of the Picture Cache by editing the appropriate line in the AUD.INI file - from memory, I think it's 500 Meg by default, but you can check that by searching the forum if you like.
