Audio Issue w/ Groove Loop (Platinum)

Running into a strange issue with a groove loop (Sonar Platinum) using BFD3. The loop is below and the first few bars don't play at all.

But when I open it in Step Sequencer, the MIDI events show up fine.

Closed and re-opened the project to no avail. I haven't recreated the loop yet as I wanted to get feedback on it first. This is the first time I ever ran into this and any help is appreciated.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue...if it's a bug I'm not sure if it's been submitted yet but would be glad to do it.

Did you increase the MIDI Buffer Size in Preferences > MIDI Playback and Recording > Playback section? That seems to be a common solution for issues involved BFD3.

The first 3 books in "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" series are available from Hal Leonard and http://www.reverb.com. Listen to my music on http://www.YouTube.com/thecraiganderton, and visit http://www.craiganderton.com. Thanks!

Craig, thanks for the suggestion. Didn't get a chance to try it earlier. I bumped it up to 512 (from 250) and am still running into the issue. I just started using BFD3 for a few new projects and haven't much of an issue with it.

It would seem to me the issue is with that groove clip being funky and not showing the part of the sequence. Is there a way to refresh these? Just want to double check before I think it's a bug and report it...though I don't know how I'd reproduce it.

May need to go larger, 500 was the default before X1. The setting is time based so the value does not need to be a multiple of 2.

Bumped it up to 1000, it still drops out only on that one clip...and half way through the sequence. I added a different event (in the part it drops out) and it renders/shows on the clip but doesn't play. Very weird.

I don't use the step sequencer, did you convert the clip to a step sequencer clip using the Track view Clip menu prior to loading it into the step sequencer?
