Audio clip analyzer + normalizer, puh-leeeez!

I just want to ask (once more) for a simple audio clip analyzer (+ normalization) feature.
 
Say I mark a (selection of a) clip active and want to know how loud it is and maybe normalize it. If you made a little widget like this with ARA it would be really easy:
 

 
The three normalize-buttons are for peak, RMS av. and RMS peak options respectively.
 
I'm not sure whether the M/S option makes sense... but here it is just in case.
