Audio editing help needed

Hi,

I'm new to Home Sudio so if this is a silly question don't shout.

I've recorded guitar parts into Home Studio. How can I edit the wave form. For example I hit a bad note in the middle of a solo and want to erase it. Can I do that? If so how.

Cheers

Take the Tutorial on Editing Audio.

Its a matter of Cut and Paste with maybe some cross-fading (assuming the solo was on a separate track, right?)

I have done the Editing audio tutorial but it only tells you how to merge two separate clips together, not how to cut a section out of the middle (for example) of an individual clip.

Can someone please shed some light!

    1) Turn off Snap to Grid and be sure to check the box Snap to Audio Zero crossings first or you'll get a pop at the edit point)
    2) Hold down the alt key and select the section you want to cut
    3) Edit-cut
