Audio engine could not start??

I just got an omega interface, I loaded it, everything said it was fine. When I tried to open the cubase that came with it, it said audio engine could not start? Im lost, what do I do?

    Ah! There's where you went wrong

    No, seriously it is probably something to do with selecting the correct audio drivers in cubase. My guess is it is trying to open an audio engine that is either not selected or not installed (like an old card or integrated sound or whichever the window default sound device is)
