Audio engine not running when using templates in X3

Does anyone know why when I start a new project in X3 and load in templates and add audio files the audio engine will not run?  It seem like when I load too many templates into the project is where I have this problem.. I can load a 12 track drum track template into the project add the audio files and it plays fine.. When I go to add more templates and audio files it will not play... Here is one other strange thing.. If I load all the templates in an add the audio files and hit play the audio ebgine plays most of the time, but if I hit save, exit sonar, and then go back in to the project, the audio engine light will be green when the project is first open but as soon as I click play it goes off and the audio engine will not run.. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this problem?  If I don't use templates the audio engine plays fine...

Just a guess: has the output routing changed since you created the templates? That is the original output no longer exists and so Sonar doesn't know where to send the data to so the output is not routed any longer.

Thanks for the response. The routing outputs are the same.. It is such a strange thing... The drum track template always works.. But if I want to lets say add a percussion template it may not play.. I say may because it can be an intermittent problem and play sometimes but not always.. I thought maybe having too many different templates in on project was confusing something in the software causing it to not play so I made one large template with all the tracks. Needless to say, that did not play at all.. As soon as I click play the audio engine shuts off. I can reset it but everytime I click play the green light goes off and nothing happens.. It is not the cpu's or the hard drive. I have plenty of resources there..
