Audio fx process - mono to stereo??

I have a mono audio track - one of the efx in the chain is a stereo effect, however when I choose "Process Effects" for that track, it renders into mono - thus losing the whole stereo effect. Anyone know how to force Sonar to process a mono into stereo?

    I'd say first thing to try is convert the track to stereo, see if that works. There's a little toggle you can click on in Trcak Pane that does this:

    Also the effect might have a 'mixing' tab.
    Ensure on the tab that 'process in place, stereo result' is checked rather than mono.
    But I agree with glaz, probably all you need to do is toggle the stereo button.

    Thanks - but i already have the steroe button pushed in.

    The effect is the Voxengo Phase Shifter- I am trying to widen the phase in the track and convert it from mono to stereo, but it is no go.

    Just another thoight ... have you tried adding a Bus and sending the output of the track to that bus rahter than to your Main Out? Add the plugin to the bus, then send the output of the Bus to the Main Out. A bit convoluted but it might work.
