Audio problems with Sonar X1 and Fxpanison Geist and Session Drummer 3

Hello cakewalker ;-)

i have problems with geist and session drummer 3, if i create a 1 bar midi loop for the drums and start playing the loop every 3-4 times the first basedrum makes a click noise and i have no clue why this happens. Same is with Fxpansion Dcam Cypher if i make a looping midi part, if sonar x1 jumps back to the first beat it makes a annoying click noise. Tried the same with ableton live and i have no problems... any of you have a clue what the problem?

thanks

hi, i use geist with x1 and i don't have these problems, however its fair to suggest that live's looping ability is more robust than sonar's, but then again that is live's strength,

there could be numerous causes to your problem, make sure your running the latest updates/patches for all plugins as well as sonar.  try experimenting with your latency settings for audio and midi, all found in the preferences (press p to access).

lastly it might be that your midi clips aren't quite snapped/quantised as nicely as they could be, highlight midi clip and press shift L to loop highlighted clips.

I love using geist with sonar, so much so that it's become my goto plugin for drums

    hope this helps

    regards jimmy
