Audio question
I have a Presonus Firestudio Project
here
I just bought an xbox one x and I see that it has a digital optical output on it. The Presonus Firestudio Project unit only has a coax optical SPDIF. Is there a way I could convert the digital optical signal to an analog coax SPDIF so I can plug it into the back of the unit and have sound through my normal computer like I do everything else?
I can't think of another way to use my awesome PC audio setup without buying a receiver that has a digital optical input and also buying speakers and a subwoofer. That's going to cost me at least a grand and I really don't want to do that.
I don't know why this unit does not have a digital optical input in the first place. I used an EMU 1820 years ago before this PreSonus stuff and even that had a digital optical input.
Any help is appreciated.
