Audio track doesn't match audio played

Strange Occurrence: I had a track of (lead vocal) audio, but the visual display of the track is not the track I'm hearing. Shown was a backing vocal track. There were no "lanes" or sub-tracks (T1, T2, T3, etc.) on this track. I restarted X2 to no avail. Then, I deleted the track's audio and re-imported it. That seemed to fix.

A few times I have had the waveform display not match the audio file.
The solution was to shut down Sonar, empty the contents of the waveform picture folder, restart Sonar.
It then redraws the waveforms correctly.

Well, what's interesting is now, even with Volume automation set to zero on a track, the audio still plays. No Sends. Restarted X2 (as the most frequent and famous Sonar advice goes) and returned to normal.
