AudioDeluxe.com deals--it is worth having an account

For a month or so I have had an audiodeluxe.com account.  I get regular emails about deals but never saw much that interested me.  Today I bought my first product and I want to let you guys know that they really do have some good offers.  I replied to another thread ( http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2497982 ) about a purchase, but I am so delighted that I wanted it to have a thread of its own.

Here is an example of two deals:
1.  Waves has their Aphex Aural Exciter on sale for $99 which is worth it.  But I just got it from AudioDeluxe.com for $82.99.

2.  Softube has announced up to 40% reduction in their prices, but audioDeluxe.com has them for even less.  Example:  Softube has reduced the Trident EQ to $219, but AudioDeluxe.com has it for $169.99.  That is an additional 22% off.

I was reluctant to sign up for an audiodeluxe.com account, and find most of their email offers not for me, but today was different.

Sign up for an account; its free.  You may find from time-to-time a deal you just have to grab.  I did with that Aphex Aural Exciter.  Now I am just waiting on the download.

    Hi
I've used them quite a bit in the past year or so - they have some great deals from time to time  - my best purchase was some Toontrack Expansion packs at the cheapest prices I could find at the time - I have to say they were so cheap I was worried about delivery etc, but they were very professional and Ginny the person I dealt with there was very helpful (and a real person!)

They seem to have the same deals on Ebay, so if you're already signed up there, just make them a favorite seller, and that way you can get notifications automatically, or just check them out from time to time.

Me too (signed up). However, CW is selling the Softube Mix bundle for $40 less right now.

On another note, I could kick myself for not signing up (and waiting two weeks) with hellomusic.com. I could have saved another few Benjamins on my RME Fireface UFX.

FYI- many of the sales on Audiodeluxe.com are one day only/ 24 hour sales.  I just checked and the Waves Aural Exciter is still on sale for $82.99, but you have to put it in the cart and check your cart price.

While many of these sales from audiodeluxe are for 24 hours only, I just double checked (on edit) and they do still have the Trident native still for $169.99 so it does not appear to be a 24 hour only deal.

I think it is worth having an account with them to get their email specials even if they are for only one day.

Bapu--      yeah, CW has Softube Mix Bundle for a much better price than Softube and Audiodeluxe.

CW is Cakewalk; the Cakewalk store is what I meant by it.

Just picked up EZx Nashville last night while the 24 hour sale was still active.  They have not yet delivered the license but it is the weekend.

Sure wish they or someone/anyone would put Americana EZX on one of these great sales.

It is typically a full year before a new Toontrack title will go on sale. Expect Americana on sale around Christmas of this year (mebee sooner, was it September it was released?)
