I bought it. It is a "hoot" to play with. Just remember that you must have the full version of Kontakt to use it. Also it is "clean", I mean really clean. So you have to set up a vst effect chain and add some kind of amp sim there so that you get overdrive or distortion. I used GuitarRig4 as the effect and it sounds absolutely great especially through the Ramfire rig. I do not know if i will use it in a mix, but I do know that it is very therapeutic to rip some licks with this puppy. Well worth $15 just for the fun!

I almost missed this, so I'm glad it was re-posted (thanks Starise). I read a lot of WIN people had problems after downloading stuffit......apparently that was for MAC users and now they have it clearly pictured for WIN (as an .rar file). Almost done downloading....thanks again!

I almost missed this too. I'm not sure how much I will use it as I have real guitars too. It may come in useful  when doing something beyond my abilities(and I'm no prodigy on guitar).

I can't try it yet because anything I order from now until Christmas gets taken away by my wife because its supposed to be for "Christmas",so my boxed copy of Kontakt5 is getting some shade under the tree I haven't set up yet. So some of my mixes are on hold because of it........unless I sneak into the boxes..........Hmmmm.

That's funny Starise (it's like being a child again for you) lol. I don't know if I could hold off like that (especially knowing that I'm getting music gear/software....if I didn't know, then that's different). But, then again, none of the family members know what software I want (I need to start a Paypal funds donation account....lol).
I jumped on this as well, but haven't had a chance to play around with it yet. Thanks for the post.

Yeah I am excited about it for sure...and a little frustrated because I have some mixes on hold for like 7 weeks? I almost had her talked into an early opening ceremony but it backfired on me:(............If this was Febuary it wouldn't matter but being its the time it is and since my wife has no ideas what to get me, my software qualifies. I'm cool with it up to a point...

I told her I ordered software but never told her how much. I keep hoping she won't look at the front door when we get home but her eyes go there like a darned magnet:)

The paypal fund is a good idea Mesh. We could start a new entity...call it the NFOPREM  or "National Federation of Poor Recording Enginner/Musicians" , with a slogan like,"plugs for poor folk are good for the world".

Glad ya caught onto the deal in time man!
