AudioSnap phantom user markers

I'm getting audiosnap user markers on tracks that I import into a project. Why should a fresh track have user markers in it? It wouldn't be too bad if I could just select all user markers (I can) and delete them all at once (It won't). These phantom user markers are in places that make it impossible to quantize tracks properly.
